Hi, this is Captain Brett Isackson with another South Florida fishing report.

I posted early in the week on fishing with Paul and Robbie Cruvellier, where Paul caught a 9lb 9oz Okeechobee trophy. For the last five days majority of the time we fish up on Lake Okeechobee other than one day we did spend in the Florida Everglades. We again were on Lake Okeechobee, we fish all artificial lures today. For the most part of the day we throw Bass Assassin Die Dapper swim-baits which the fish wanted burned across the top of the water. When that bite died out we switched over to flipping and pitching Bass Assassin Pure Craws.  Mostly pitching into the reed-heads, that’s how Paul stroked a nice (5  1/2lber) five and a half pounder today. We ended the day with about 23 to 35 fish today, ranging from one pound to five pounds.

Really gonna miss fishing with my buddy Robbie, their great clients and friends of mind that have fished with me for five or six years now. Sad to see then go, but here’s a Okeechobee video of some of the great times we had on this last trip!

Tight lines from Bass Fishing Florida.
