Hello everyone! This is Captain Brian Brown with your Lake Okeechobee fishing report.
March 30th of 2015
Today I went out of the north end of Lake Okeechobee again, I had Tim Bostick, his brother Jeff and their father Ted. They joined me on the lake today, we met at Garrards Bait & Tackle where we got 5-dozen wild shiners. We went out, fished along the path. We tried to catch some fish that are still setting up maybe coming in for the next spawning next full moon. Every spot we stopped at today we caught some fish but we did do good on numbers. We went back to where we started and we caught a 3-pounder and since that moment we did not stop, we know it was going to be a good day. The weather turned out awesome for us, it wasn’t windy and the sun came out…upper 70s, it was great! By the end of the day we ended up catching a pretty decent amount of fish, they were happy. Having a family on the boat it is always fun! Bothering each other, laughing, competing…who was catching fish and who wasn’t. Just a wonderful day in the water, could not ask for anything better than that!
