Summertime Lake Okeechobee Guide Service

Hello, this is Captain Jason Young with todays Summertime Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

Today I fished the South end of the lake with Gary and Riley from Texas. We begin our day on the outside grass edges with wild shiners. By eight O’Clock we had to move inside the grass lines to continue to get bit as the sun rise over head. From there we moved to deeper water where we used up the rest of our shiners and then we switched to a 10″ ribbon tail worm in Junebug. This is how we caught the rest of our fish for the day.

All in all it was a great day on the water we had sunshine and a gentle breezy and water temps were in the mid 80’s.

Until next time, this is Captain Jason Young…your Summertime Lake Okeechobee Guide Service, wishing you…Tight lines.
